John Paulson contributed the booklet "What Does The Holy Bible Really Say About Salvation, Faith, Repentance..." to encourage us to re-examine our beliefs to ensure they are really based on the Bible's teachings. It is an interesting and eye-opening work.

We have investigated a large number of churches, radio preachers, T.V. preachers, books, magazines and newspaper articles that claim to be "Christian"; and we have found very few sources, apart from the Bible itself, that teach the correct salvation message. The majority of the books we have found that give the correct salvation message were produced before the 20th century, and are now rare and out of print.
The best modern source we have encountered is the booklet entitled What Does The Holy Bible Really Say About Salvation, Faith, Repentance.
In our area and in other areas we have visited, we have only found two churches that consistently teach the correct salvation message.
Speaking to people in these areas we found that:
People who were raised in the United Church of Canada were told that, if they "did the best they could", they would be all right when they left this world. THIS IS TOTALLY FALSE AND A GREAT DECEPTION. (If you don't agree the United Church teaches this, click here for proof.)
People who were raised in the Roman Catholic Church were told that, if they were "baptized" into the Roman Catholic Church and faithfully performed the required sacraments, they would be all right when they left this world. The worst that could happen is that they might have to spend some time in "purgatory" where the flames would purge their sins. THIS IS TOTALLY FALSE AND A GREAT DECEPTION. (If you don't agree that the Roman Catholic Church teaches this, click here.)
People who were raised in the Anglican church were told that, when they were "baptized", God made them members of Christ's Body, the Church, and inheritors of the kingdom of God. THIS IS TOTALLY FALSE AND A GREAT DECEPTION. (If you don't agree the Anglican church teaches this, click here for proof.)
People who were raised in one of the "Bible-believing" churches were told that all they have to do is "accept Christ as their Saviour". THIS IS TOTALLY FALSE AND A GREAT DECEPTION. Actually, it is in this type of church that we encountered a few preachers who preach the correct message, but even they ruin their testimony of the truth by occasionally preaching false messages such as "accept Christ" or "make a decision for Christ" or something similar to this which has no foundation in the Bible whatsoever; or they fail to exhort members of their congregation who knowingly or unknowingly spread false doctrine.
The booklet that we mentioned above, What Does The Holy Bible Really Say About Salvation, Faith, Repentance, encourages people to read the Bible without being influenced by any bias or prejudice that they might have picked up from other people or churches or so-called "Christian" literature.
If you read the Bible as a fresh book, ignoring commentaries, you will soon realize that the main message that it preaches from beginning to end is "Repent". You will also realize that salvation is by believing in Jesus Christ - not by "accepting" Him or any of the other false doctrines that are spreading through the world.
Also, it will be clear that it is not even possible to believe in Jesus Christ unless you first of all repent. As Jesus clearly said, "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God." (John 3:19-21)
Jesus said "Freely you have received, freely give." (Matthew 10:8) Feel free to download and distribute anything from this site. All that we ask is that you do not add to, omit or change anything that we have written.
